A Letter From Our President

Letter from the President

Hello from Alpha Phi!

My name is Courtney Chapman, and I am the current Chapter President of the Epsilon Xi chapter of Alpha Phi at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville! On behalf of all our sisters, I’d like to extend the warmest of welcomes to our website. We are SO excited you are here!
While you’re here, I hope you take a few moments to see all Alpha Phi has to offer. As sisters of this sorority we take pride in our sisterhood, leadership on campus and within the community, commitment to scholarship, loyalty to one another, and dedication to service - all of which unite and empower us as collegiate women.
When I packed my bags and headed to SIUE as a Freshman, I knew I needed a new home - one with a group of women who I could call my friends, my mentors, and my role models. In Alpha Phi, I was fortunate to find women who inspire me everyday with their drive, kindness, and deep-rooted love for one another.
Now, as a Senior, I feel so incredibly lucky to say, “I am an Alpha Phi.” Here, I have been able to share my collegiate experience with over 100 women - all of whom are leaders, scholars, philanthropists, and loyal sisters. Here, I have found my home and my best friends. Most of all, in Alpha Phi, I have become the best version of me.
By looking through our website, I hope you will gain a small glimpse of WHY we are SO proud to say, “We are Alpha Phi.” You’ll find a preview of our history, philanthropy efforts and community service, leadership opportunities, recruitment process, scholarship and academic priorities, and our sisterhood.
So, come in and meet the Alpha Phis!

Loyally, Courtney Chapman
